Prepay advertisers can only request a refund for the full prepaid balance remaining in the AdWords account. This amount will be returned to the bank account that you indicate when requesting the refund or to the credit card associated to your account.
Here's how to request a refund for the remaining funds in your account:

- Sign in to your AdWords account at https://adwords.google.co.uk.
- Click the Billing tab.
- Click Account Preferences.
- Find the Account Cancellation section.
- Click requesting a refund.
- Fill in all the available fields and click Submit Request.
- If your account is on bank transfer prepay, you'll be brought to a secure PayPage. Fill in your bank account details and click Continue. Note that we do not collect your bank account details when accepting AdWords prepayments, which is why we need you to provide them now.
Then what happens? When you request a refund, we will automatically suspend your ads and begin to process your request. The entire refund process may take three to four weeks. We will send you a confirmation email when we've completed processing your refund, although it can take another five to ten working days before the funds are reflected in your bank account or credit card.
Can I resume my ads? After your refund has been·processed, you may make additional payments to your AdWords account. Your ads will begin running again as soon as we have received a new payment. You can also cancel your refund request within two to five days of initiating the request. Your ads will resume running if you do so.
